Your audio never leaves your device

Tunewell uses your browser's built-in Web Audio API. When you allow microphone access, the audio signal is analyzed in real time on your device to estimate pitch. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. Close the tab and it's as if it never happened.

No tracking

• No accounts and no signup.
• No analytics scripts and no advertising.
• No cookies. The only data stored is your theme and calibration preference, kept in your browser's local storage.
• No third-party requests: the site is static files and nothing else.

Questions

Because no data is collected, there is no data to request, export, or delete. If you have questions about how this works, the site's source speaks for itself — all pitch detection code runs client-side.
